Executive Committee-2010 organised its first event of the year in the form of Sports Day which was held on 9th April, 2010 at Ahmadi gardens. The day proved very much funfilled not only for children but also for adults. The couple game 'Pati Patni or Woh" remained the main attraction of the event.

Diwali Milan 2009
In a fast paced life and all of us staying at far off distances, the concept of “Diwali Sneh Milan” brings all members together and exchanges the New Year wishes - “Saal Mubarak”. Sneh Milan was arranged in a unique way in a 5 Star Khaima (Tent) It was not only exchange of wishes but also a Diwali themed program was presented by members kids. Meritorious students were awarded plaques and certificates in appreciation of their hard work and bringing Glory to Samarpan Family. The program was concluded with a yummy Dinner. The highly attractive & colorful rangoli was added flavor in the Sneh Milan. The innovative Diva competition was also organized.

Navaratri Mahotsav 2009
Navaratri Mahotsav was inaugurated by HE Ambassador of India Shri Ajai Malhotra and was celebrated from 18 Sep to 27 Sep 2009 at American International School (AIS). The hall was everyday flooding with members and guests from various Indian communities in colorful, traditional costumes. The energy and excitement of vibrant gujaratis were witnessed at the mahotsav. Kids and youth enjoyed the most. Rhythmic folk music made every member dance for long hours. The untiring performance by musical troop made the event so lively that no one wanted to go home. All the annual sponsors were honored by presenting plaques by President.

Sports Day

On April 17th, 2009 Samarpan hosted a Sports Day event at Fintas Garden, for its members. The atmosphere was like mini Olympics of ‘Samarpan’. Several games like Marble-Spoon, running race, hop on one leg, frog jumping, ball in the basket etc were conducted with help of volunteers and judges to choose the winners. More than 125 children participated actively in the games with sportsman spirit. Separate games for ladies and gents were organized. On this day new website of Samarpan (www.samarpankuwait.com) was launched by the hands of the most elderly person in the association. This will improve interaction between the organisation and members leading to better communication and sharing of ideas. Kids of Samarpan family gave energetic demonstration of karate skills which inspired one and all. Plaques and certificates were distributed to winners and certificates to all the participants. Volunteers were awarded certificate of thanks for their kind support and co-operation. All the members enjoyed delicious lunch and morning breakfast and evening tea / coffee.

Makarsankranti 2009
Makarsankranti was celebrated with great enthusiasm by all member.The event was held near the famous Kuwait towers, the landmark of Kuwait and which among the members is known as samarpan chowk. Patang  and  ‘manja’ were distributed by free by the committee to all members and their families. The sky was filled with kites of all colors and so was the atmosphere with the shouts of ‘kapyo chhe’ as soon as one kite is dismissed by other in this very old sport of kite flying. Makarsankranti is incomplete without Teel laddu. It was distributed and enjoyed by all family members.   
New members were welcomed and old members renewed their membership. This event also was occasion for annual general meeting. A crisp AGM dealt with the ‘hisab kitab’ and everybody enjoyed a delicious lunch. A new committee was also formed. Some enthusiastic members continued to fly kites. All the new generation kids got flair of flying kites away from home
